Samuel L. Jackson may have revealed Nick Fury’s upcoming MCU appearances.

While Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have retired from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, franchise mainstay Samuel L. Jackson is still making appearances over a decade later. Jackson made his debut as SHIELD head honcho Nick Fury in Iron Man and has appeared as the character a dozen times. The star is next set to spearhead Disney Plus’ Secret Invasion series, which Jackson is reportedly set to headline as a main player.

We’ve known for a while that Samuel L. Jackson is set to return for the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels but the star may have just revealed his next few MCU appearances. Speaking with the Happy Sad Confused podcast (via Screen Rant), the star implied that he’s on track to appear in a swath of Marvel films – all filmed on one production lot.

“It used to take a while to make a movie but people make two or three of them at a time. In the Marvel Universe…it’s crazy. When I was in London, it was [Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania], and [The Marvels] was happening, and we were getting ready to do [Secret Invasion]. It was like, three Marvel movies on one lot. I was kind of running around from place to place.”

One can interpret Samuel L. Jackson’s comments in multiple ways. Is the Oscar-nominated actor suggesting that he’s appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? Or is he just pointing out that the Paul Rudd threequel is filming in close proximity to Secret Invasion? Only time will tell if Nick Fury will join Ant-Man to defeat Kang but the character will next be seen in The Marvels and Secret Invasion.

Here is the synopsis for Moon Knight, Marvel’s next series:

“A new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.”

Written by Jeremy Slater the series stars Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight and Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow. The series was directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige serving as an Executive Producer.

Moon Knight is currently set to debut on March 30. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming Disney Plus series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
