It seems that we have Samuel L. Jackson to thank for one of the best lines to come out of Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s second trailer.
During a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Samuel L. Jackson talked about one of the most notable lines in Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s trailer. In it, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man attempts to downplay his heroics when Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury was attempting to recruit him for an assignment in London. In response, Nick Fury said, “Bitch, please. You’ve been to space.” And it seems we have Samuel L. Jackson to thank for that great line. When he was asked if the line was in the Spider-Man: Far From Home script, Samuel L. Jackson was doubtful:
“Probably not.”
Jake Gyllenhaal then confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson’s line was, in fact, not in Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s script:
“I’m here to attest. That was improvised.”
From the look of things, Samuel L. Jackson gets to make up his own lines these days.
What did you all think of the line in Spider-Man: Far From Home? Did Samuel L. Jackson’s improvisational skills make you laugh? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
