‘Samurai Jack’ Brandishes His Sword In New Season 5 Teaser

Samurai Jack

The new Samurai Jack season five teaser is out. It finally gives us the premiere date for the series, which will be making its premiere on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim in a little over a month.

The teaser is only ten seconds long, but it shows Samurai Jack cloaked in darkness while standing in the rain holding his sword. “Jack’s back,” it announces. You can check out the season five teaser below!

The series is a cult-classic and was announced to be returning to Cartoon Network last year after being canceled back in 2004 after its fourth season. The new show takes place five decades after the last one and will have ten episodes.

Samurai Jack will premiere on Saturday, March 11.

After being sent into the future by evil wizard Aku, young samurai Jack makes a quest to return to the past and undo the destruction caused by the wizard. Along the way Jack enlists allies to defeat some of Aku’s henchmen and other villains before getting to the top dog to defeat him and find the portal that can return Jack to his own time. Samurai Jack was created by Genndy Tartakovsky, who had previously created Dexter’s Laboratory, one of Cartoon Network’s first original series.
