The first official look at Sasha Calle as Supergirl in the upcoming film The Flash was revealed at DC FanDome!

During DC FanDome, we got our first official glimpse at what The Flash film directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Ezra Miller will be like. Along with further reveals of Ezra Miller in the new suit, we also got a brief glimpse at Supergirl, played by actress Sasha Calle.

The Flash will mark Supergirl’s first appearance in a live-action DC Comics film since the critically-panned 1984 film that starred Helen Slater in the titular role. Sasha Calle is the first Latina actress to portray the beloved superhero.

Sasha Calle as Supergirl will not be the only other superhero taking part in The Flash alongside Ezra Miller. Both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are confirmed to reprise their roles as their respective versions of Batman in the film.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston. The film will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
