Scarecrow Featured In New ‘Injustice 2’ Gameplay Trailer

scarecrowOut of all the Batman villains to pick for Injustice 2, Scarecrow would have come just before Penguin in terms of likelihood for me. I was surprised at his inclusion, but it looks like Dr. Crane will be another fun character to play as in Injustice 2. The official Injustice Youtube channel released a Scarecrow gameplay trailer today that shows off a lot of Scarecrow’s moves, including his terrifying “Arkham-esque” finisher. Check it out below:

One of the things that initially revolted me about this Scarecrow is his appearance. However, the intro for this trailer makes it clear that it is Crane’s fear gas that makes him appear this way to his opponents. Obviously, this makes a lot of sense, I just didn’t even think about it. He certainly wouldn’t be a match for Superman, or anyone for that matter, without his toxin.

“Injustice 2 is the super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Usthat allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Featuring a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, players can personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. Additionally, for the first time, gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.”

Do you already have a favorite Injustice 2 character from the trailers alone? Let us know in the comments!

Injustice 2 releases on PS4 and Xbox One on May 16. Check out the official website for pre-order information and more.
