Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse merchandise reveals Scarlet Spider will appear in the upcoming film.
The first Spider-Verse film introduced a ton of Spider-Man variations, with Across the Spider-Verse expected to bring in even more. It’s already been revealed that Spider-Woman and Spider-Punk will show up, along with a more prominent role for Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099, who was teased in the post-credits scene for the first film.
Since Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was supposed to hit theaters in October before it was delayed to the next summer, merchandise has been finding its way online and in stores. The premature merchandise has been revealing new details about the sequel, and a Trouble tie-in game for the film reveals Scarlet Spider will show up.
First Look At Scarlet Spider Revealed
Scarlet Spider originated from the famous Clone Saga. In the comics, Ben Reilly was a clone of Peter Parker created by Jackal. On the game’s box, it appears Scarlet Spider will have an art style similar to what is seen in comic books. You can get your first look at Scarlet Spider in Across the Spider-Verse below.
