IMAX revealed how much of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow will be presented in the expanded ratio ahead of its release.
Black Widow will be the first Marvel movie in two years by the time it comes out. In the meantime, we’ve seen the launch of Phase Four happen with television shows on Disney Plus instead. Scarlett Johansson’s solo film will also debut on the streamer with Premier Access, but many Marvel fans might head straight to theaters to see the film since it will be presented in IMAX when it hits next month.
Tickets for Black Widow aren’t on sale yet, but IMAX shared that the Scarlett Johansson-led film will have 22 minutes of footage in the expanded 1:90:1 aspect ratio that gives you 26% more picture. You can check out IMAX’s tweet, which offers a nice visual of the difference below.
