The Flash Arrow Legends Finales

As we get closer to the end of this current TV season, The CW announced today their finale dates for all their shows, including their DC TV properties.

The first CW DC show to wrap up its current season is the freshman show, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow which will air its season one finale on Thursday, May 19.

Official Description for the next upcoming episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – “Night of the Hawk”

SARA MEETS SOMEONE SPECIAL; RAY AND KENDRA GROW CLOSER – The team tracks Savage (guest star Casper Crump) to a small town in Oregon during the 1950s. Upon arrival, they discover there have been a recent string of murders and they suspect Savage is involved. Professor Stein (Victor Garber) and Sara (Caity Lotz) go undercover at a psychiatric hospital, where Savage is working as a doctor, to find out his plan. While there, Sara meets a nurse named Lindsay (guest star Ali Liebert) and sparks fly. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) pretend to be a married couple to gain the neighborhood’s trust, but an interracial couple in the ‘50s isn’t something that goes unnoticed. Soon, Savage is at their door. Joe Dante directed the episode written by Sarah Nicole Jones & Cortney Norris (L108). Original airdate 3/10/2016.”

The following week, the fastest man alive, The Flash, will be be concluding its second season on Tuesday, May 24.

“THERE IS A NEW SPEEDSTER IN CENTRAL CITY; WILL THE FLASH BE ABLE TO KEEP UP? – Deciding to blow off some steam, Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team head out for a night on the town only to encounter an unexpected speedster who is up to no good. Iris (Candice Patton) is challenged by an assignment from her new boss (guest star Tone Bell), and is surprised when friction turns to flirtation. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Lauren Certo and Lilah Vandenburgh (FL216). Original airdate 3/22/16.”

To wrap up, the following night will be the Emerald Archer’s night as Arrow finishes Season 4 on Tuesday, May 25.

“CUPID RETURNS TO WREAK HAVOC ON STAR CITY – A heartbroken Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick) returns to Star City with one goal – to destroy anyone in love. The team learns she’s killing couples on their wedding day so Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decide to pose as bait. John Showalter directed the episode written by Rebecca Bellotto & Nolan Dunbar (AR416). Original airdate 3/23/16.”

While none of these three DC TV shows have been renewed for new seasons, it’s safe to say that they will have all been renewed by the time we get to the season finales.

The Flash (which returns from its mini-break on March 22) airs on Tuesday nights, Arrow (which returns from its mini-break on March 23) airs on Wednesday nights and Legends of Tomorrow (which will go on a mini-break after this week’s episode, until it returns on March 31) airs on Thursday nights, all at 8/7c on The CW.

    I wonder if that “Powerless” show gets picked up, where early indications seem like they can mention just about any hero or villain, if it changes the situation for the CW shows. Would be nice if these three shows, and Supergirl could mention or use anyone in the DC universe.

    Hopefully this will also serve as the Arrow series finale. This show has gone so far downhill since it’s second season. It needs to be put out of its misery.
