Marvel Studios’ ‘Secret Invasion’ Will Reportedly Start Filming Soon

The series is expected to hit Disney Plus next year.

The timetable for when Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion will film in Los Angeles has been revealed.

Secret Invasion has recruited several high-profile actors in the last few months as production starts to ramp up. Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury will lead the Disney Plus series that also stars Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Coleman, Christopher McDonald, and several others currently in unknown roles.

With most of the major roles in the Secret Invasion series seemingly filled, it sounds like filming will get under cameras soon. According to Charles Murphy, Secret Invasion is looking to start filming in mid-August and run until December. Meanwhile, several other Marvel Studios projects are in production, such as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Marvels, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, both in the states and overseas.

Here is the official synopsis for Marvel Studios’ most recent series on Disney Plus, Loki:

“Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.”

Directed by Kate Herron with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
