Snowfall star Sergio Peris-Mencheta is set to play the villain in Rambo 5: Last Blood, starring Sylvester Stallone in his last adventure.
According to Deadline, Peris-Mencheta will join Stallone, Hugo Martinez and Paz Vega in the upcoming sequel. Peris-Mencheta is set to play the leader of a Mexican cartel. The plot follows Rambo as he crosses the U.S.-Mexico border to find a kidnapped child who is the daughter of a close friend. This pits him up against a cartel led by Peris-Mencheta.
Filming for the film is currently underway in Bulgaria, where Stallone recently shared a first look at the film on his Instagram.

Get The Gringo‘s Adrian Grunberg is set to direct the film with a script from Matthew Cirulnick and Stallone. The film comes from Lionsgate, Millennium Films, and Campbell Grobman Films.
The Rambo franchise, which started in 1982, is based on the novel, First Blood by David Morrell. Last Blood will be the franchise’s fifth installment and follows 2008’s Rambo, which was directed by Stallone.
Rambo 5: Last Blood is currently targeting a 2019 release date.
