Shazam!: Fury Of The Gods star Rachel Zegler has teased at the possibility of a cameo from Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

The state of the DC Extended Universe is one that seems to be in constant flux. The status of certain characters and stars like Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman, for example, is currently unclear. What is clear, however, is that Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will be sticking around for the time being.

In addition to her involvement with Wonder Woman 3, Gal Gadot’s character has been connected with a number of DCEU projects. At least one Wonder Woman 1984 connection has been spotted on the set of Batgirl and was seen wearing her tiara while The Flash was still in production. Now it appears that an appearance in Shazam!: Fury Of The Gods may be on the table.

While speaking to Empire Magazine, Shazam!: Fury Of The Gods star Rachel Zegler teased at a potential cameo by Wonder Woman. When asked about this, she wouldn’t confirm that it was happening but did reveal that their meeting on the set of Snow White wasn’t the first time they had met:

“I’m not going to say much, but [filming Snow White] wasn’t our first meeting.”

Here is the synopsis for the DC’s first Shazam! film:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Hounsou.

The original film is available to own on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Meanwhile, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on December 16, 2022.
