‘Shazam!’ Action Figure Voice Line May Tease The Seven Deadly Sins

Shazam Zachary Levi

A Shazam! action figure with voice lines has surfaced and one line might tease the Seven Deadly Sins’ appearance in DC’s next film.

Dr. Sivana (Mark Strong) will be the primary antagonist in April’s Shazam!, but he might not be alone. A recent report from SuperBroMovies claims the Seven Deadly Sins will also appear in the upcoming film and a voice line from a Shazam! action figure may add more credence to the rumor.

A new video of a Shazam! action figure has surfaced on Twitter as merchandise starts to hit store shelves. The video features the action figure’s voice lines with the most interesting one being, “Why don’t you pick on someone your own size, enemies of man,” which could be directed at the Seven Deadly Sins. Others voice lines from the figure include, “Did you get that on camera?” and “Check this out, Dr. Sivana!” You can check out the video for yourself below!

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Asher Angel, Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Faithe Herman, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.

The film will hit theaters next year on April 5, 2019.
