‘Shazam’ Director Trolls Fans With ‘First Look’ At Script

Shazam DC Comics

Shazam director David F. Sandberg took to Twitter to share a “first look” at the film’s script. While the content we got to see was top-notch, the only issue is that Sandberg’s first look is quite literally a troll to fans who expected something legitimate.

In the tweet, Sandberg praised Shazam writer Henry Gayden by telling him how the “latest draft is perfect!” Reading through the script will signal that something is quite wrong, but hilarious nonetheless. You can check out the post below:

My favorite part of Sandberg’s faux script was when Superman put on his glasses, and Shazam immediately realized that Superman had left his presence and Clark Kent had replaced him. If anything, this little nugget we got is an indication that the film is in good hands, as Sandberg has previously stated that Shazam would be the most light-hearted DCEU movie to date.

What did you think about Shazam’s fake script? Do you think Superman could ever actually appear in another DCEU film like Wonder Woman is reportedly appearing in The Flash movie? Comment below and let us know!

Shazam will hit theatres on April 5, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Shazam and the future of the DC Extended Universe!
