‘Shazam’ Director Posts Crazy Superman & Black Adam Crossover

Shazam director David Sandberg took to Instagram to post a hilarious slideshow featuring Superman, Black Adam and Freddy Kruger

David F. Sandberg is known for his comical instagram posts about his upcoming DC Film Shazam!, but tonight he took it to to another level. In this hilarious post featuring the likes of Black Adam, Superman, Freddy Kruger and some other toys, it really seems that Sandberg is having an amazing time directing Shazam!. While not much is known about film other than a few casting announcements, the star of the film Zachary Levi, teased this earlier this week:

“We’re going to Toronto to go make a little movie called Shazam! It’s going to be a long shoot. It’s going to be in the middle of Winter. I’m not sure how I feel about that.”

As for Superman and Black Adam, the man of steel is rumored to make an appearance in the film, while Black Adam is rumored to appear in Suicide Squad 2 before getting his own solo film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The film stars  Zachary Levi as the titular superhero, Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Grace Fulton as Mary Marvel, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freedman, Cooper Andrews, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen as Eugene, Jovan Armand as Pedro, and Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana.

David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) is directing from a script written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke.  The film is being produced by New Line Cinema in conjunction with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. Shazam is a DC Comics character who first debuted in 1939 with the original name of Captain Marvel. Created by C.C. Beck and writer Bill Parker, the character was first published by Fawcett Comics.
