While fans are still waiting on a release date for the She-Hulk Disney Plus series, new casting details from the show suggest that Hulk star Mark Ruffalo will be returning to play a key part in She-Hulk‘s origin story. Interestingly, the casting details also reveal that the She-Hulk Disney Plus series is looking for actresses who have played comedic roles before and are in their 20s or 30s. The studio is also reportedly open to actresses from different ethnicities for the role.

After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce that transforms her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.
