Marvel Studiosโ€™ She-Hulk series adds Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry to the cast.

Marvel Studiosโ€™ She-Hulk cast keeps growing. According to Deadline, Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry has joined the cast of She-Hulk. Goldsberry will play a character called Amelia in the series. No other details have been given about Goldsberryโ€™s character.

Recently, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke ย to Emmy Magazine about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Disney Plus and even revealed that the She-Hulk series will be a โ€œhalf-hour legal comedyโ€ because itโ€™s something the studio has โ€œnever done before.โ€ He also teased that John Byrneโ€™s 1980s She-Hulk run will be the inspiration behind the Disney Plus series, which will be interesting to see since both Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth are set to reprise their respective roles as Hulk and Abomination in the show.

In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce who was the only viable donor. The transfusion had the unintended side effect of transforming her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Bannerโ€™s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.

Marvel Studiosโ€™ upcoming slate of films includes Black Widow,ย The Eternals,ย Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,ย Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, andย Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, includingย The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,ย WandaVision,ย Loki,ย What Ifโ€ฆ?,ย Hawkeye,ย Ms. Marvel,ย Moon Knight, andย She-Hulk.

She-Hulk is expected to arrive on Disney Plus in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the Avengers, Tatiana Maslany, She-Hulkย and the rest of the Disney Plus projects, and be sure toย subscribe to Heroic Hollywoodโ€™s YouTube channel for more original content!
