Spider-Man Homecoming Captain America
Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the first solo film where the wall crawler exists in a world occupied by other superheroes. While Peter Parker will be receiving a helping hand from billionaire genius Tony Stark, it appears Captain America will also be making an appearance to help guide the young hero, albeit in a different format. Now, a new TV spot for Spider-Man: Homecoming has revealed new footage of Captain America’s cameo appearance in the highly anticipated film.

The TV spot shows Peter Parker being sent to detention by the principal where we see the young student being forced to watch a PSA video featuring the star spangled hero.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Directed by Jon Watts, the film stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Michael Chernus, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Angourie Rice, Abraham Attah, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released in theaters on July 7, 2017.
