Warning: this article contains major spoilers from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The latest installment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Far From Home features several big cameos, including three of them right from the jump. Set to Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” Spider-Man: Far From Home opens with a video tribute from Midtown High to the fallen heroes of Avengers: Endgame, those being Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man, Chris Evans’ Captain America, and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.

But they don’t stop there. To add salt in Peter’s wound that is the loss of Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man not only appears in murals at airports around the world, but Jake Gyllenhaal also uses Peter’s mentor against him, creating an illusion of Iron Man raising from his grave as a zombie. The illusion also features a Captain America statue with his shield.

And last but certainly not least, the mid-credits scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home features the film’s biggest surprise, with the introduction of J. Jonah Jameson who is once again played by J.K. Simmons, reprising his role from Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man trilogy. Be sure to check out our coverage of the film’s post-credits for a full breakdown on this shocking reveal.
