Not all of Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s supporting cast returned for Far From Home, as this one notable supporting character didn’t make it into the sequel.
Spider-Man: Far From Home saw the return of many Homecoming‘s cast member,s but not all could be squeezed into the sequel. One of the notable exclusions to the Homecoming sequel was Mr. Delmar, the deli owner. Mr. Delmar, as you may remember, was a local deli owner who was on a first name basis with Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming. He was also one of many characters in the film who commented on how attractive Aunt May was. But he does not appear in the Homecoming sequel despite set photos hinting at his return.
The reason for this seems to be because a vast majority of the Homecoming sequel takes place overseas and, as a result, the film didn’t have much time to spend in Spider-Man’s old neighborhood. Hopefully, we will see him in future Homecoming sequels.
What did you think of Mr. Delmar’s exclusion from Spider-Man: Far From Home? Did it disappoint you? Do you think he was cut from the film? What did you think of the character in Homecoming? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
