‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Co-Director To Helm ‘Ahsoka’ Episode

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey will reportedly helm “at least one episode of Ahsoka.”

The upcoming Star Wars series centered on Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano is gearing up to start shooting later this month. So far, we know Dave Filoni’s Ahsoka will feature the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, see Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, and Ivanna Sakhno. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey will also be involved with the Ahsoka Tano spin-off. Ramsey will jump into live-action after notably winning an Oscar for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Peter Ramsey first started out as a storyboard artist on films like Fight Club and Men in Black before moving on to direct Rise of the Guardians for Dreamworks. Ramsey will reportedly direct “at least one episode of Ahsoka” for Lucasfilm.

Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano last appeared in The Book of Boba Fett. Here is the show’s synopsis:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spin-off with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.
