Spider-Man: Far From Home star Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays the Marvel Comics villain Mysterio in the upcoming movie, recently took to Instagram to poke fun at his character’s goofy comic book costume.
With Avengers: Endgame finally out, many have been curious about what will be next for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many fans can expect to see the fan-favorite character Spider-Man return as the next Marvel Studios film slated for release is the highly- anticipated Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is shrouded in secrecy, but one character we can expect to see is the classic Spider-Man villain Mysterio. While we have seen Mysterio in photos and footage from the movie, many have been clamoring to get a full on look at the character’s iconic comic book suit. While Jake Gyllenhaal is clearly poking fun at Mysterio’s goofy comic book costume, it seems that the actor has a lot of fun playing this character. Mysterio, who’s set to make his big screen debut with Spider-Man: Far From Home, was set to appear in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4, but that project never saw the light of day.
