Tom Holland’s Spider-Man may have to tangle with the Sinister Six in a future movie according to producer Amy Pascal.
It seems like Tom Holland might have to contend with the Sinister Six in a future movie. While Daredevil‘s Drew Goddard was originally going to direct a Sinister Six ensemble film, the idea was shelved after the disappointing reception to Sony’s previous live-action take on Spider-Man. However thanks to the resounding love for Tom Holland’s take on the character, it seems as if the folks at Sony are booting up their Sinister Six plans once again.
According to ComicBook.com, producer Amy Pascal speaks about the Sinister Six on a featurette included on the home release of Spider-Man: Far From Home as a montage of clips show off the wide range of villains that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has already faced in the MCU — Vulture, Shocker, Scorpion (Mac Gargan was on the ferry in Homecoming), and of course, Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio. It seems as if she’s teasing that the villainous team will show up in a future film to face off against Spider-Man. Read her comments about the Sinister Six below.
“These villains we now have in our universe happen to be characters that are in the Sinister Six. There may be something that happens with that.”
