‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Clip Features Miles Morales & His Dad

Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse Miles Morales

Sony has released a brand new clip from their upcoming animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The clip involes Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and his father Jefferson Davis (Brian Tyree Henry) sharing an embarrassing, yet sweet moment together.

It is a clip that expands upon one of the most memorable moments from the trailers, in which Jefferson uses his police microphone to ask Miles to say that he loves him. It is certainly an instance of father/son embarrassment that many can relate to.

You can watch the new clip down below:

It sure sounds like the voice actors involved with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse had a great time recording their lines. It is always fun to see Brian Tyree Henry appear in any project, and to hear his voice come through the mouth of Jefferson Davis will add a nice level of comedy to the film.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind “The Lego Movie” and “21 Jump Street,” bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, & Rodney Rothman from a script written by Phil Lord, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse features the voice talents of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, and Lily Tomlin.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on December 14, 2018.
