‘Spider-Man’ Star Tom Holland Responds To Fan Outrage Against His Father

Spider-Man star Tom Holland responded to outrage directed towards his father over a book on the actor’s rise to fame.

Before Tom Holland landed the role of Spider-Man, his father, Dominic Holland, wrote a book titled Eclipsed that chronicled his son’s rise to fame and how he felt overshadowed by his more successful child. While the book was intended to be satirical in nature, some fans took the ‘bitter’ tone seriously and expressed their outrage towards Tom Holland’s father on social media.

Now, Tom Holland has posted his own response to the outrage and defended his father, joking that he is only jealous of the Spider-Man actor’s golf swing. On a more serious note, Tom Holland noted that he read and loved his father’s book before expressing that he was glad it was written.
