A brand new image from Spider-Man: Far From Home shows Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio fully suited up and ready for action.
Tom Holland’s next cinematic solo outing as Spider-Man hits theaters this summer and the film is set to feature the big screen debut of Mysterio, an iconic Marvel Comics villain created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Jake Gyllenhaal is bringing the villainous character to life and fans can see him alongside Tom Holland’s wall-crawler in a newly-surfaced image from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

In Far From Home, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man faces off against Mysterio. Details on the plot are currently under wraps, though the film will follow Peter as he joins his friends on a summer vacation in Europe. Introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #13, the best known incarnation of Mysterio is a special effects wizard named Quentin Beck and the character has been a frequent foe for the web-head since his debut.

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
