Footage from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse shown at CinemaCon 2018 revealed that the villains of the film will be Kingpin, the Prowler and the Ultimate version of the Green Goblin.
Descriptions of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse footage confirm that Miles Morales was shown facing off against the aforementioned villains in the upcoming animated film. The best-known of the trio are Green Goblin and Kingpin, the latter having been recently portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio in Netflix’s Daredevil series. However, the Ultimate version of the Green Goblin is a much larger and demonic depiction of the character than the version featured in most on-screen adaptions of the comics.
The Prowler is a lesser-known villain, though his alter-ego, Aaron Davis, was recently portrayed by Donald Glover in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will feature a version of Prowler named Hobart Brown.
