Summer blockbuster Star Trek Beyond came out to purchase via Digital HD today, and one of the behind-the-scenes gag reels has been released online.
The clip shows various scenes featuring the characters we have all come to know from the new Star Trek franchise of recent years, including Spock, Kirk and all the rest. These gag reels are always a kick to watch, showcasing spontaneous and intimate moments between the actors on set that gives us a sort of feel to the fun they had shooting the film.
The outtakes come from many different scenes in the movie, and one in particular towards the end with Chris Pine and Karl Urban’s characters finding a bottle of liquor is sure to get a lot of laughs.

The Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.
Day 966 in the USS Enterprise’s five year mission takes them into new uncharted territory. There, the Enterprise is nearly destroyed and strands Kirk and his crew on a remote planet with no means of communication. Kirk must then work with the elements to reunite his crew and get back to save the Starbase Yorktown.
