The first TV Spot for Star Trek Beyond, the third film in what has now been dubbed the Kelvin Universe, has been released. The TV spot contains some new footage as well as footage previously seen in the third trailer for the film. While most of the new footage is simply slightly expanded scenes, we get some more comedic moments as well.
The first two films in the Kelvin Universe were directed by J.J. Abrams, whereas this upcoming film will be directed by Justin Lin who directed Fast and Furious 5 and 6.
