J. J. Abrams hinted at a possible appearance by Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The animated film titled Star Wars: The Clone Wars introduced Jedi apprentice Ahsoka Tano, who quickly became a fan-favorite and continued to appear in the animated series of the same name in addition to making appearances in the Rebels show. Ever since she made her first appearance, many fans have been eager to see Ahsoka Tano in a live-action Star Wars film and The Rise of Skywalker director J. J. Abrams seemingly suggested their wishes could be granted soon.

During an interview with SoraNews24, the topic of favorite Star Wars characters was raised and J. J. Abrams named Han Solo as his top choice. When the interviewer noted that Ahsoka Tano was their favorite Star Wars character, J. J. Abrams suggested she might make her first appearance in a live-action project by advising fans of her to keep their eyes opened during The Rise of Skywalker:

“Hmmm, Ahsoka, huh? Well then you’ll probably want to watch closely during The Rise of Skywalker.”
