‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Set Photos Offer More Details On New Planet

More details continue to leak from the set of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode IX teasing the environment of a new planet in the film.

It was known before the start of production for The Last Jedi that Ahch-To would be a planet featured in the film, which was glimpsed at the end of The Force Awakens. For Episode IX, no details have been revealed about any new or returning planets that may make an appearance in the film as production in the UK continues.

According to Making Star Wars, the Black Park set outside Pinewood Studios continues to be transformed into a Star Wars environment. It has been reported in the past that vines and plants have been added for the “exotic planet.” Giant rocks have been spotted on set and it is speculated the film will feature a, “rocky swampy jungle location.” The report goes on to say that two sets have been created at the location, one with the Millennium Falcon and the other with rocks on the floor.
