‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ Prequel Coming March 2023

The game will arrive sometime next year.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Lucasfilm announced two new tie-in books that will arrive around the time Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is released.

Following the success of Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment is developing its sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, along with a first-person shooter and a strategy game. Survivor was finally confirmed during Star Wars Celebration in May. The first trailer featured the return of Cal Kestis, BD-1, an unknown Pau’an, and two mysterious characters.

There will be a time jump with the next Star Wars Jedi game, and Lucasfilm revealed Battle Scars would fill in the gaps. The novel from Sam Maggs will follow Cal Kestis and the Mantis crew between the events of Fallen Order and Survivor. Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars will arrive on March 7th. Lucasfilm also revealed that Dark House would release The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, coming on May 2nd.

When Will Survivor Be Released?

There’s currently no release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor other than the game coming sometime in 2023. The release dates of the upcoming books suggest Survivor will be released in the spring. The release date and a new look at the game could come at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase happening at D23 in September. According to video game insider Jeff Grubb, Survivor will be released in March alongside the new novel.

Here is the synopsis for the first game:

“Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ is an action-adventure game set after Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith™. Develop your Force abilities, hone your lightsaber techniques, and explore the ancient mysteries of a long-lost civilization—all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release in 2023. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news surrounding the next Star Wars Jedi game, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
