While Star Wars: The Last Jedi will reunite fans with fan-favorite heroes such as Rey and Finn, the next installment of the Star Wars saga will also introduce brand new characters to audiences. One of the those characters will be played by Jurassic Park star Laura Dern, though as can be expected, details on her role are unknown at this point. In an interview with Yahoo!, Dern discussed how she even keeps the identity of her character a secret from her own children.

Dern explained that she won’t share details about her character with her children to spare them the stress of keeping the film’s secrets.

“It’s hard in our own house. ‘Mom, you can at least tell us who you play.’ I’d never put them in that position.”

Dern did reveal that her hopes her Star Wars role will earn her some more respect at home.

“I was hoping for a little more respect. I’m hoping when they see the movie, I’ll get a little more. A point.”
