‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’: New Lego Set Reveals Supreme Leader Snoke

Star WarsPotential SPOILERS ahead for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Don’t read ahead if you wish to remain unsullied.

Introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Supreme Leader Snoke has remained a mystery ever since his debut in December of 2015. Seen as the force that corrupted Kylo Ren to join the dark side, and the closest thing we have to an Emperor in the new trilogy, Snoke’s appearance in The Force Awakens offered more questions than answers regarding his importance.

Snoke wasn’t featured in The Force Awakens‘ marketing and merchandising campaign, so it’s seemingly clear that he’ll play a larger role going forward, as he’ll be featured in an upcoming Lego set. Revealed through Reddit (via ComicBook.com), The First Order Star Destroyer Set reveals six new figures, with the most important being Supreme Leader Snoke. You can check out the image below:

Tucked in the end is Supreme Leader Snoke, who looks small in size. When seen in The Force Awakens, Snoke was portrayed as a larger than life hologram with a blue hue. However, according to this image, he’ll be relatively modest in size, without the blue hues. In fact, he looks to be more a humanoid, as his flesh appears to mimic those of previous human Lego figures. If you look closely, you can see that Snoke still retains his prolific scars. In addition, Snoke is seen sporting elegant robes that make us think that this Leader has a huge ego problem.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, and newcomers to the franchise Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas on December 15, 2017.

8 ‘Star Wars’ Spin-Off Movies We Really Want To See

Star Wars-SagaMay the 4th be with you, everyone! Even on May the 8th! With Star Wars weekend in the rear-view mirror, it’s still a great time to kick back, get out your old glow-in-the-dark lightsaber toys and Darth Vader Halloween masks, and pop in those original trilogy DVDs. Maybe even all 8 currently-released films, if you’re up for the challenge (both mental and otherwise). Speaking of which, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story just came out on Blu-ray, marking the first home release of many Star Wars spin-off movies to come.

Of these, only one future title has been confirmed – Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, to be released in May of 2018. Beyond that, we know Disney had at least two more planned, and probably more down the line. And why not? The Star Wars universe is so ripe for exploration. There are so many characters we were introduced to in the Saga movies that could easily get their own film. And it doesn’t stop there. The legacy of the Jedi and the Sith go back thousands of years, opening up virtually endless possibilities of story material.

Given this abundance of material just waiting to be tapped into, Heroic Hollywood decided to celebrate the Star Wars holiday by compiling a list of the Star Wars stand-alone movies we’d most like to see. While some of the films on this list are more likely to be developed than others, they each share one unifying factor: they’d all be freakin’ awesome!
