‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’: Toy List Reveals Potential Character Names

A recently leaked GameStop inventory listing reveals 5 new Star Wars: The Last Jedi action figures and they may potentially reveal new character names.

A list of upcoming Star Wars toys that will ship to GameStop has leaked online, thanks to Reddit. These future products include action figures that are supposedly from The Last Jedi and they may tease certain new characters. While these hopeful figures don’t reveal any new concrete details, they do give us insight into some potential names. The action figures will drop by Force Friday 2017. You can check out the image here.

However, some of the names on the list seem absurd even for a franchise like Star Wars, with the likes of “Cool Beta” making the GameStop list. One can assume that LucasFilm is keeping secrets even from retailers, as some of these names might be placeholders.

The list features 11 new Star Wars figures,  5 of which are supposedly from The Last Jedi. The names of these action figure characters are Cool Beta, Foxtrot, Guards of Evil, and Victor. Victor is getting two different figures, one with and one without a throne. It’s been theorized that Victor is none other than Supreme Leader Snoke as it was reported that he would have a throne in The Last Jedi. In addition, the Guards of Evil could be Snoke’s “Praetorian Guards” who were also reported upon.

The other 6 action figures are from previous Star Wars films and include Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Vader, and Lando Calrissian.

When September hits, we’ll get a better idea of what these action figures are and who they’re for.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, and newcomers to the franchise Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas on December 15, 2017.
