‘Star Wars Rebels’: ‘Legacy Of Mandalore’ Clip & Images Introduce Sabine’s Mother

The first clip and images from the upcoming episode of Star Wars Rebels, "Legacy of Mandalore", reveal the introduction of Sabine's Mother.


Since the end of season two, fans of Star Wars Rebels have been teased that the third season would feature an arc driven by Sabine Wren as we got to learn more about her past and her exodus from Mandalore. Finally, that arc is here now that Sabine has accepted her destiny to wield the ancient and powerful Mandalorian weapon, the Darksaber, in an effort to unite her Homeworld of Mandalore. Now that she has undergone training, Sabine must return home and confront her Mother hoping to convince her family to join the Rebels in their fight against the Galactic Empire.

Tiya Sircar, the voice actress who plays Sabine recently spoke with Comicbook.com, teasing the upcoming Sabine heavy arc:

“This is just the beginning because we’ll get to see even more and learn more about that dynamic with her family. Because, I don’t know if I can say, but we’ll get to meet members of her family.”

The first clip released from the upcoming episode features the introduction of Sabine’s Mother as Sabine reveals to her she is in possession of the Darksaber. You can check it out below.

Star Wars Rebels returns this Saturday, February 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD. Here’s the official synopsis for “Legacy of Mandalore”:

“Hoping to enlist her family to help the rebels, Sabine returns to her home world with Kanan and Ezra, but soon finds herself embroiled in her family’s power struggle for Mandalore.

You can also check out the gallery of images released for the upcoming episode which features a group of Mandalorians flying in formation, Sabine defending herself against the Gar Saxon wielding the Darksaber, and Kanin and Ezra face to face with Sabine’s Mother inside of a throne room.
