‘Star Wars Rebels’ To End With Season 4

During the Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Panel at Star Wars Celebration Orlando, Dave Filoni announced the series will end with Season 4.

Star Wars Rebels Dave Filoni and select members of the voice cast are on hand for the Rebels Season 4 Panel today at Star Wars Celebration Orlando. Joining Filoni on the panel were the show’s principal cast, including Freddie Prinze Jr., Taylor Gray, Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar and Steven Blum. The panel is streaming live now on the Star Wars YouTube Channel.

At the panel, Dave Filoni officially announced what many of us were suspecting for a while now: that the Disney XD show will be ending with its upcoming fourth season. But don’t get too sad Rebels fans, as he did tease that the Lucasfilm animation department will still continue to be putting out some great Star Wars content. Our own Nathaniel Brail was on hand in the room for the Rebels Season 4 panel. Here are just a few of the phenomenal tidbits he relayed to us:

The panel ended with the screening of a brand new Star Wars Rebels Season 4 teaser trailer. Fans in attendance also got the chance to check out a screening of the Season 4 Premiere, which the rest of us sadly won’t get to see until Season 4 kicks off this fall on Disney XD.

Expect to hear more Star Wars Rebels news as the weekend continues. And be sure to check back right here on Heroic Hollywood for all of our Star Wars coverage from this year’s Star Wars Celebration.

Star Wars Rebels will return for its fourth and final season this fall on Disney XD. So what do you say, fans? Are you sad to see Rebels end with Season 4? What do you hope the next animated Star Wars series will be? Let us know and share your thoughts in the comments below.
