With the release of the final trailer of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker upon us, fans have spotted a potential Easter Egg in a recent trailer tease that will make fans of Star Wars Rebels very happy.
In one of the newest trailer teases for The Rise of Skywalker, we see the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy take the lead in what is shaping up to be the most epic space battle in the galaxy’s history as a massive fleet of ships in alliance with the Resistance take the skies against the massive fleet of First Order Star Destroyers for the war to end all wars.
As exciting as it is to see all of these ships bunched up together taking up the entirety of the shot, there is one particular ship that has Star Wars Rebels fans particularly pleased. The most eagle-eyed of fans may notice that towards the right of the shot, we see a ship that looks just like the Ghost ship from Star Wars Rebels.
You can take a look at what appears to be Star Wars Rebels’ Ghost ship in the tweet down below, courtesy of io9’s James Whitbrook:

The Ghost was the freighter starship in which the Star Wars Rebels crew of Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Garazeb “Zeb” Orellios and Chopper spent much of their journey on. Although it was featured prominently in animated form on Star Wars Rebels, the Ghost ship made its live-action debut in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
If the ship seen in this trailer tease for The Rise of Skywalker is the same Ghost ship seen in Star Wars Rebels, this would certainly leave many fans speculating about what has happened within at least 30 years following the events of the series, which was set mainly five years before Star Wars: A New Hope and featured an epilogue set after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
