The second trailer for Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will make its debut during NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics later today, but until then, Disney and Lucasfilm have released another sneak peek (combined with yesterday’s trailer announcement) at some of the never-before-seen footage that we’ll see in it.

It’s not much, but the latest sneak peek features new footage of Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), as well as Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) and Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones). Make sure to check back here at Heroic Hollywood later to watch the full trailer.

You can check out the preview below.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Jiang Wen, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Genevieve O’Reilly, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story comes to a galaxy near you on December 16, 2016. Are you excited?
