‘Star Wars’: Ron Howard Takes Us Inside A Speeder Cockpit

Han Solo Chewbacca Star Wars Disney Lucasfilm

Ron Howard continues to be active on Twitter, giving us an almost daily look behind the scenes into the production of the still-untitled Star Wars Han Solo spinoff film. Today, Howard gave us a glimpse into the cockpit of a new craft from the movie. Check it out in the tweet below:

The cockpit looks like it would fit right alongside some of the grungier crafts from the Original Trilogy era. The controls and dash are styled very similarly to what we have seen from the years prior to A New Hope, showing the attention to detail Lucasfilm, Howard, and the whole production are bringing to this film.

There have been many action sequences teased from the film through images like this, and it looks like perhaps we might get a chance to see Han Solo, future pilot of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, show his stuff behind the wheel of a speeder.

The untitled Star Wars Han Solo spin-off is scheduled for a May 25, 2018 release date. Its cast includes Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Paul Bettany, Ian Kenny, and Warwick Davis. Stay tuned for more news from a galaxy far, far away.
