We are creeping up on five weeks from the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Five more weeks.

With so little time left before the world gets to see The Force Awakens, information is bound to come out about the development, production, and story. Details some may not want to know. So with that in mind, we are about to venture into spoiler territory, so consider yourself warned.

Disney and LucasFilm have, to this point, kept things pretty close hold concerning the highly anticipated film. One thing we do know is world renowned motion-capture expert, Andy Serkis, is playing Supreme Leader Snoke. We know that he is the Supreme Leader of the First Order and Kylo Ren’s master. However, not much else is known, specifically regarding what the final version of this character will look like.  The official Star Wars website gave us our first look at Andy Serkis providing his ‘mo-cap’ for the production.  But we still don’t know what the character will look like.

That is, until now. Indie Revolver warns that the image, which you can check out at the site, is only concept art, and that there are ‘wildly different’ designs out there for this character. They further state that this may not even be close to the final version of the character. But it is interesting nonetheless, and at least gives us a reference point for the character from early on in the development process. So if Snoke is drastically different on screen, it is neat to see at least one of the concepts for the character to see how it evolves from concept to screen.

Besides, we don’t exactly have a whole lot more to look at/speculate on/debate over as Disney/LucasFilm has kept a tight lid thus far.

Fortunately for all of us,  Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens for early screenings on December 17th.

What do you think? At least he doesn’t look like Jar-Jar…  Also, why’d it have to be snakes…
