‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ TV Spot Reveals New Emperor Palpatine Dialogue

A brand new TV spot for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker teases the appearance of Emperor Palpatine for the final chapter of the Skywalker saga.

An impressive new TV spot ahead of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker teases the appearance of Emperor Palpatine with an eerie line of new dialogue from the villain which immediately sets the tone for the footage. The rest of the trailer focuses on the battle between Rey and Kylo Ren as well as some impressive aerial dogfighting from Poe and Finn, all with the incredible “Dual of the Fates” theme from The Phantom Menace playing over the top for added dramatic effect.

But the most interesting part of the Star Wars TV spot comes Emperor Palpatine’s new line of dialogue at the beginning of the footage. Palpatine snarls the line while Kylo Ren marches towards Rey on the wreckage of the second Death Star. He decisively states “This will be the final word in the story of Skywalker.” Does this mean that the villain wants Rey to kill Kylo Ren?
