AMC revealed the runtime of Disney and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The main Star Wars saga is set to conclude with the release of The Rise of Skywalker and the final entry in the 9-film series is on track to become the longest chapter of the franchise. AMC has revealed that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has a runtime of 155 minutes, or two hours and 35 minutes.

Before The Rise of Skywalker, the record for the longest-running Star Wars film belonged to Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi, which only ran three minutes shorter than its sequel. While every Star Wars film has been over two hours, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker are the only two entries to cross the two and a half-hour mark.
