Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker‘s latest TV spot features the TIE whisper chasing Rey on Pasaana.
The latest Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker advertisement doesn’t have a lot of new footage compared to the other ads, but among other things, it features new shots of Kylo Ren’s TIE whisper as he prepares to chase Rey on the desert planet of Pasaana. There also appears to be a large explosion involving a moon or a planet during what appears to be the final battle, which likely means that the First Order is making use of the miniaturized Death Star tech shown at the very end of The Last Jedi.

Set to conclude 42 years of movies, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will feature some of the biggest spectacle pieces seen across the generational franchise. Based on what’s been shown here, from the desert chase with skiffs, speeder bikes, and jump packs, to the duel on the ruins of the second Death Star and the climactic space battle, it appears that they will definitely deliver on this front. It’s still hard to believe that everything ends this month, but we are almost there.

Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams. Carrie Fisher will also appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot from previous Star Wars films.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2019.
