Stan Lee & Other Stars From ‘Big Hero 6’ Set To Return For TV Series

Marvel legend Stan Lee and many other voice actors will reprise their roles from the 2014 film, Big Hero 6 in the upcoming TV series continuation.

The TV series, Big Hero 6 set to air on Disney XD which is based on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 2014 feature film inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name will have a number of the famous voice cast return for the series. Stan Lee, Maya Rudolph, Jamie Chung, Scott Adsit, Alan Tudyk, Ryan Potter, Genesis Rodriguez and David Shaughnessy will all reprise their roles from the 2014 movie. Khary Payton and Brooks Wheelan join the cast, replacing Damon Wayans Jr. and T.J. Miller respectively.

The brand new series will pick up where the film left off, continuing the adventures of 14-year old tech genius Hiro and his amazing, robotic best-friend Baymax. Along with their friends Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Go Go and Fred, they form the legendary superhero team Big Hero 6 and embark on incredible, high-tech adventures as they protect home of San Fransokyo from an array of scientifically enhanced villains.

Big Hero 6, was named best animated film at the 2015 Oscars, among many other honours from that year earned $657.8 million at the worldwide box office.

When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.”

The Big Hero 6 series is set to debut on Disney XD sometime in 2017.
