Stephen Amell revealed he has no plans to guest star as Green Arrow on any of the Arrowverse shows.
In January, The CW’s Arrow concluded its eight-season run with an emotional series finale. While the final episode concluded with Felicity and Oliver Queen reuniting in the afterlife, some fans have since wondered if the Emerald Archer might return for a guest appearance on the other Arrowverse shows.
During a recent live stream on his official Instagram account, Stephen Amell was asked this very question and the actor quickly noted he has no plans to play Green Arrow again. While he noted that his time as Green Arrow was good, it was now time to be done with the role:
“No, I’m done. That was good. It was a good eight years but it was time to be done.”
Stephen Amell added that it feels like his time playing Green arrow was part of a different lifetime, noting that it felt weird seeing commercials for the other Arrowverse shows while watching Roswell, New Mexico on The CW:
“It was weird seeing promos for Supergirl and Flash and Batwoman again. It seems like a different lifetime. I don’t think I’ll be doing that again.”
