Stephen Amell Open For Arrow/Supergirl Crossover

As you probably have heard by now, Supergirl and The Flash will officially be doing a crossover next month on Monday, March 28 on CBS in the 18th episode of the new CBS series and the episode is appropriately called “World’s Finest”. But as many have noticed, CW’s other DC series, Arrow, is not included for that crossover, at least not this time around. IGN recently spoke with the Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, about what his thoughts are about a potential Arrow/Supergirl crossover down the line. When asked, Amell stated the following:

IGN: You mentioned there being four shows. Now that Grant is doing the first Supergirl crossover, would you like to see what Oliver makes of her too eventually?

Amell: Sure! In this iteration of the DC Universe, the “Television Universe” as it were, I’m the guy that’s been around the longest, so I always feel — whether I’m on a show or I’m not on a show — I always feel as though I can in some way, shape or form represent them, and I always want them to be wildly successful and last for many more years than we end up lasting, because I just want to see people have success. So I would love to go over to Supergirl. That would be a blast, if for no other reason than I miss shooting in Los Angeles. [Laughs]

The answer isn’t too surprising and it will probably happen at some point in the future after CBS and CW sees how this first crossover goes. Perhaps during Supergirl’s 2nd season (should it renewed by CBS), they will do an even bigger crossover between all the four Berlanti shows. But for now, you can look forward to the highly anticipated crossover between the Girl of Steel and the Fastest Man Alive on March 28.

Supergirl airs on Monday nights, 8/7c on CBS and Arrow airs on Wednesday nights, 8/7c on the CW.
