Stephen Amell Shares Sneak Peek At ‘Arrow’ Season 7 Trailer

Arrow Stephen AmellIn a recent post, Arrow star Stephen Amell shared a sneak peak for the upcoming trailer for the show’s seventh season.

The post in question doesn’t give a big hint as to what is to come but clearly indicates that Oliver Queen will have a rough time of things in jail. In the image, Stephen Amell’s character seems to be partly covered in blood. Below it are a few words indicating the production company, date, the word “FINAL” and the name of the reel.

You can see the full post below.

The image and trailer will undoubtedly tie into the start of the upcoming season of Arrow. Towards the end of the sixth season, the FBI learned of Oliver Queen’s dual existence as the Arrow. After defeating the season’s antagonist, Oliver Queen was taken to prison where the season ended. The initial episodes of the upcoming season are expected to be focused, at least in part, on his adjustment to prison life. And if this image is to be believed, it is not going terribly well for him.

What do you all make of this image? Are you looking forward to the upcoming season of Arrow? Are you look forward to this status quo change? Should the show have ended years ago? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen with David Ramsey as John Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak and Colton Haynes. The series production team includes Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Wendy Mericle, and Sarah Schechter.

There has been no shortage of close calls for Oliver Queen when it comes to protecting his Super Hero identity, but in the season six finale, he was finally backed into a corner and forced to reveal himself to the world as the Green Arrow. Now, Oliver will come face-to-face with many of the criminals he placed behind bars, as he makes a new home for himself at Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, challenging him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

Arrow Season 7 premieres on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

  • I liked him a lot as Spidey! TASM2 suffers from having one too many villains but it is actually still okay to watch for me. Andrew Garfield certainly wasn’t responsible for what was wrong with the film. Imo anyway. Yeah, I’d definitely enjoy seeing him again in a superhero role somewhere down the line for any of the studios.

He might make an interesting John Costantine.

Yup. TASM2 suffered from trying to tell too many stories in the interest of universe building. There is a great movie in there somewhere crushed by the weight of interference and agendas.

He was perfect as Spiderman, and got the short end of the stick, though Tom Holland is doing a great job as well. Garfield was a massive upgrade over Mopey Maguire, and I’d love to see him back in a costume…how about as Carnage or Venom? I think that would be fantastic.

    It’s not a definition, it’s an example.

Garfield was an incredible Spiderman but a really bad Peter Parker
