Official ‘Stranger Things 4’ Poster Teases Haunted House & Hopper’s Return

Netflix has released the official poster for Stranger Things 4, teasing the series’ haunted house setting, creepy new creatures and the return of David Harbour’s Jim Hopper.

The poster shows most of the principal cast, who are set to return for the series’ fourth season. It follows the stunning conclusion to Stranger Things 3, which saw both Jim Hopper and Billy Hargrove sacrificing themselves – though as the first trailers for Stranger Things 4 confirmed, Hopper survived his apparent death and will return. Early teasers have showed Hopper working for Soviet forces and the new poster offers a new look at his shaved head look.

In addition to the returning protagonists, the poster also teases the haunted house glimpsed in trailers, along with an ominous grandfather clock that appears to play a prominent role in the new series. Vecna, the series’ newest big bad, can be seen staring out over the series’ heroes while bat-like creatures take to the skies. Check out the new poster from Netflix below:

Stranger Things 4 looks set to bring all the scares and strangeness fans have come to expect from the Netflix series. The season will be split into two volumes, with the first airing later this month on Netflix and the second arriving in July.

Here is the synopsis for Stranger Things 4:

“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
