Millie Bobby Brown Returning To ‘Stranger Things’ For Season 2

Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown

Barb’s return may still be up in the air, but TV Line has revealed that Millie Bobby Brown will be back as Eleven for the second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

The series was renewed for a nine-episode second season in August, but creators Matt and Ross Duffer wouldn’t confirm whether or not the fan favorite character would be returning. Netflix representatives declined to comment on TV Line’s report, but the site seems confident that Brown will return as a series regular.

The second season will be set in the fall of 1984, almost a year after the events of the first one. Details about the upcoming season are scarce at the moment, but we do know that it will explore more of the Upside Down and new locations outside of Hawkins, Indiana. It will also introduce three new characters, two of which have already been cast.

Stranger Things season 2 will debut on Netflix in 2017. In the meantime, you can check out the excellent first season on the streaming service. It’s worth your time.

A love letter to the supernatural classics of the 80’s, Stranger Things is the story of a young boy who vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
