The overwhelming success of Stranger Things on Netflix really caught pop culture by surprise. Audiences were immediately hooked onto this Duffer Bros creation and are still concocting theories for what’s to come in the much anticipated second season.
Today, on the official Twitter and Facebook page for the series, a photo was shared featuring performers from the series sitting together for a table read. However, in pure Stranger Things fashion, the photo depicts these actors upside down and mirrored. It was shared with this message also presented upside down:

For those wondering how the photo looks in its proper format, here you go:
We see returning cast members Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Noah Schnapp (Will), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Natalia Dyer (Nancy) and Joe Keery (Steve) at the table read along with newcomers Sadie Sink (Max) and Dacre Montgomery (Billy). Noticeably absent is Shannon Purser (Barb), whose name tag is featured to the very left with an empty seat. Poor Barb.
This photo signifies that production is nearing, and I cannot help but get more excited. The first season of Stranger Things was one of the most entertaining debut seasons of television in recent memory, and to return for another adventure in Hawkins, Indiana with these characters is incredibly intriguing.
All episodes of the second season of Stranger Things will be available to stream on Netflix in 2017.
